Thank you for connecting with us online! Graham Windham understands your concerns about privacy and your interest in knowing how your information is used and safeguarded, and we want to provide you with more information on these topics.

Graham Windham is a non-profit organization sponsoring and hosting www.graham-windham.org. In visiting our site we hope you gain a sense of our mission, the programs we offer to our community, and how you can get involved.

We respect the privacy of each individual who visits and uses with graham-windham.org and have adopted the online privacy policy below. Your participation with graham-windham.org constitutes acceptance of this privacy policy.

Website Privacy Policy

We collect site usage data, which is not individually identifiable, and individually identifiable information voluntarily contributed by visitors to graham-windham.org. The information we collect includes:

  • Site usage data (such as number of visitors and pages visited), which is not individually identifiable and is used to improve the site. We do not attempt to track individuals in any manner and we do not link the web information to any other databases with the purpose of identifying individual website users.
  • Individually identifiable information, which is provided voluntarily by the visitor (on forms such as our donation forms and contact forms). We use the information as requested by you.  If you include information such as mailing address, email address, and phone number, we may use the information to contact you with information you have requested, or to send periodic mailings if you have signed up for our email list or made a donation.  We do not share contact information with any third parties.

If you would like to change the way we contact you, including level of frequency, please call 212-529-6445 0r email your preferences to info@graham-windham.org.   All email communications through our emailing list contain a link to automatically opt out of emailings.

To maintain security during the transmission of donor information during the donation process, we use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption for our donation page.

When visiting links to other sites, we encourage you to review the privacy policies and statements of each site you visit.

Social Media

To better communicate with our public and constituents, Graham Windham maintains a Facebook page (www.facebook.com/graham.windham) Twitter account (www.twitter.com/grahamwindham), as well as an Instagram account (under the screen name @grahamwindham).  We invite you to connect us through these forms of social media; however, please note that in so doing, you are responsible for any interactions with other individuals on these sites and are subject to the privacy practices of each respective site.  We reserve the right to monitor, and if necessary, delete and/or report any posts considered offensive, and to block or report any individuals who may be misusing Graham Windham’s social media platforms.

How We May Share Your Information

Occasionally we may share, non-identifiable site usage data with third parties to show general preference and demographic information.

Occasionally we may share, the individually identifiable information you voluntarily elect to provide to graham-windham.org to third parties so that they can (1) prevent potentially prohibited or illegal activities; and/or (2) process credit card transactions.

We will also share identifiable information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our rights, protect the safety of our users or others or respond to an inquiry made by you.

You are deemed to consent to us to providing the individually identifiable information to third parties as outlined in this policy.

If you do not want your individually identifiable information shared in accord with this policy, do not provide such information to graham-windham.org

Policy Toward Children

We do not intend to collect individual identifiable information from children under the age of 13. We will never knowingly collect such information from persons under the age of 13, per the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998. If we become aware that an individual under 13 has provided us with individually identifiable information we will remove such information from our files to the best of our abilities. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with individually identifiable information, that parent or guardian should contact us at info@graham-windham.org.

Changes to our Privacy Policy

We may amend this privacy policy from time to time. In that event, we will email participants who have provided their email address the amended policy and remind participants of their opportunity to opt out.
