Thank you for connecting with us online! Graham understands your concerns about privacy and your interest in knowing how your information is used and safeguarded, and we want to provide you with more information on these topics.

Graham Windham is a non-profit organization sponsoring and hosting www.graham-windham.org. In visiting our site we hope you gain a sense of our mission, the programs we offer to our community, and how you can get involved.

We respect the privacy of each individual who visits and uses graham-windham.org and have adopted the online privacy policy below. Your visiting and using graham-windham.org constitutes acceptance of this Privacy Policy.

Website Privacy Policy

We collect 1) site usage data, which is not individually identifiable, and 2) individually identifiable information voluntarily contributed by visitors to graham-windham.org. The information we collect includes:

• Site usage data (such as number of visitors and pages visited), which is not individually identifiable and is used to improve the site. We do not attempt to track individuals in any manner and we do not link the web information to any other databases with the purpose of identifying individual website users.

• Individually identifiable information, which is provided voluntarily by the visitor (on forms such as our donation forms and contact forms). We use the information as requested by you.  If you include information such as mailing address, email address, and phone number, we may use the information to contact you with information you have requested, or to send periodic mailings if you have signed up for our email list or made a donation.  We do not share contact information with any third parties, except in the limited ways described below under “How We May Share Your Information.”

If you would like to change the way we contact you, including level of frequency, please call 212-529-6445 or email your preferences to [email protected]. All email communications through our emailing list contain a link to automatically opt out of future emails.

To maintain security during the transmission of donor information during the donation process, we use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption for our donation page.

When visiting links to other sites (including through links found on our website), we encourage you to review the privacy policies and statements of each site you visit.  We do not control those sites or their privacy practices, and are not responsible for their privacy policies and practices.

Social Media

To better communicate with the public and our community, Graham Windham maintains a Facebook page (www.facebook.com/graham.windham), Instagram account (www.instagram.com/grahamwindham/), LinkedIn account (https://www.linkedin.com/company/graham-windham), X account (www.x.com/GrahamWindham), and YouTube channel (www.youtube.com/@grahamwindham). We invite you to connect with us through these forms of social media; however, please note that in so doing, you are responsible for any interactions with other individuals on these sites and are subject to the privacy practices of each respective site.  We reserve the right to monitor, and if necessary, delete and/or report any posts considered offensive, and to block or report any individuals who may be misusing Graham Windham’s social media platforms.

How We May Share Your Information

Occasionally we may share non-identifiable site usage data with third parties to analyze general preference and aggregate demographic information.

Occasionally we may share the individually identifiable information that users voluntarily provide to graham-windham.org to third parties so that they can (1) prevent potentially prohibited or illegal activities; and/or (2) process credit card transactions.

We may also share individually identifiable information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our rights, protect the safety of our users or others, or respond to an inquiry made by the user.

Policy Toward Children

We do not intend to, and will never knowingly, collect individually identifiable information from persons under the age of 13, per the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998. If we become aware that an individual under the age of 13 has provided us with individually identifiable information, we will remove such information from our files. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with individually identifiable information, that parent or guardian should contact us at [email protected].

Changes to our Privacy Policy

We may amend this Privacy Policy from time to time.  If we do so, we will update this online version and we will email the amended policy to participants who have provided their email address. If you have submitted personally identifiable information to Graham Windham and would like to have that information deleted, you should contact us at [email protected].
