Graham Studio™ Conversations Podcast: Leading with Love with Dr. Anne Williams-Isom
More than 220 years after Graham first began supporting New York City’s children and families, our Graham Studio™ Conversations podcast is bringing the discussion back to the people and communities at the heart of our mission. So far on Season 1, we have raised the recurring themes of helpful help™ and community support—through conversations with Phillipa Soo, Zion Clark, and Darryl “DMC” McDaniels. Now, we’re bringing these topics full circle in our season finale with special guest, Anne Williams-Isom!
A dedicated leader with decades of experience in New York City’s child welfare and social services landscape, Anne brings a deeply personal perspective to her timely conversation with fellow human services innovator, Graham’s President and CEO, Kym Watson. Together, these prominent Black women leaders bring a fresh perspective to the kind of leadership New York City needs, from recognizing the strengths we inherit to finding new ways to support children, families, and communities.
At the heart of the conversation is a simple but powerful idea: everyone has a “superpower,” a unique strength that can shape how we contribute to the world around us. Paired with Anne’s perspective on what it means to “lead with love,” the conversation offers an energizing look at leadership and community support that is personal and purposeful.
