Graham Featured in amNY’s America 250 Series

amNY recently published a feature article on Graham and how our organization represents Eliza Hamilton’s enduring legacy. The article is part of the publication’s America 250 series honoring the nation’s 250th anniversary.

Graham’s President & CEO Kym Watson discussed Graham’s deep ties to American history and how we’re continuing to support communities today. Kym unpacked the innovative spirit that has powered Graham throughout our 220-year history, beginning with visionary female founders like Eliza Hamilton. In a time where it was uncommon for women to establish, lead, and fund organizations, our founders broke barriers, laying the foundation for Graham’s enduring legacy of innovation and impact.

Kym said of Graham’s future, “30 years from now I would hope that legacy continues, that we are ever evolving, ever being and becoming whatever it is that our neighbors need us to be, what our communities need us to be, and that we’re giving helpful help™ in whatever capacity that we’re needed.”
